Comparative Analysis on Reinforced Concrete Beam-Column Joint with Sisal Fiber Under Cyclic Loading

The most critical failure regions are the joints between beams and columns. Under dynamic loads, bonding of rebars in concrete will be severely stressed fail. In addition to damaging column loading paths, collapse joint point may also affect structure's overall ductility capacity dissipate energy. This study examined relationship natural fiber beam-column by adding 0.5% 1.5% with an increment 0.25% sisal reinforced concrete. Ductile detailing was done as per IS 13920-2016. analysis is carried out using finite element software ANSYS workbench, it developed considering effects cyclic loading. structural behaviour under analyzed Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis, including maximum load displacement values compared experimental values. A Comparison FEM showed that 1.25 % Sisal performs better a beam withstand lateral seismic loads on structures.
